titleOfInvention Method for applying psychotherapeutic treatment
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method involves determining initial vegetative tone, heart beat rate and galvanic skin response, reactive anxiety level of patient. Problem troubling the patient is found out. Stress situation causing present problem is determined by applying free association method. The patient is asked to restore the situation in mind many times and emotional experience is evoked in the patient. The patient is aided to give exact emotion definitions and asked to concentrate himself on resentment feeling and do not hide his/her emotions. The patient becomes fully aware of the resentment as response to stress. The patient is suggested to realize negative emotions, showing various ways to restore justice. Then, the patient is asked to describe situation scenario desirable from his/her point of view. Next to it, the patient is asked to imagine the stress situation once more. Color, aroma and music therapy is applied with vegetative tone taken into consideration. Reactive anxiety level, heart beat rate and galvanic skin response are repeatedly measured. The values obtained before and after the session beginning are compared. Satisfactory psychoemotional state is considered to be achieved if no patient response being observed when making stress situation reconstruction in mind and if reduced values of heart beat rate and galvanic skin response, reactive anxiety level are achieved when compared to initial ones. n EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; accelerated treatment course; reduced risk of psychosomatic diseases recurrence. n 4 tbl
