titleOfInvention | Method and device for producing chlorine and chlorine-containing oxidizers |
abstract | FIELD: water disinfection. n SUBSTANCE: method comprises diaphragm electrolysis of saturated water solution of chloride of alkaline metal with the use of diaphragm made of porous reinforced polyvinyl chloride. The device comprises electrolyzer made of a set of alternating flat members made of perforated anodes and cathodes separated by a diaphragm made of a porous polyvinyl chloride and provided with electrode anode and cathode chambers. The chambers are interconnected with a collectors to form a single circulation circuits of anolyte and catholyte provided with gas-separating members and pressurized with a pressure lower than the atmospheric pressure. The permeability of the diaphragm is caused by the hydrostatic pressure in the anode circulation circuit and is controlled by the value of the flow rate of supply of initial saline solution. n EFFECT: simplified device and method and enhanced efficiency of the device. n 7 cl, 8 dwg, 2 tbl, 5 ex |
