titleOfInvention | Method of preparing anti-icing composition |
abstract | FIELD: anti-icing agents. n SUBSTANCE: invention provides a method for preparing liquid anti-icing composition to remove snow-ice coatings from pavements and to prevent icings, which method resides in that aqueous hydrochloric acid solution interacts with magnesium hydroxide and/or carbonate and calcium hydroxide and/or carbonate suspension in sodium chloride solution at 10-50°C and atmospheric pressure, after which resulting solution of calcium, magnesium, and sodium chlorides with corrosion inhibitor and optionally with bischofite aqueous solution to following composition: 10.0-18.0% calcium chloride, 3.0-8.0% magnesium chloride, 4.0-9.0% sodium chloride, 0.01-0.6% corrosion inhibitor, and water and inert impurities in balancing amount. Composition is characterized by pH 5-9 and summary content of calcium, magnesium, and sodium chloride no less than 20%. n EFFECT: increased economical efficiency of process due to use of inexpensive raw material sources, reduced freezing point of composition, and improved environmental influence. n 6 cl, 5 ex |
