FIELD: electrical engineering; primary and secondary solid-state chemical current supplies. n SUBSTANCE: proposed solid-state chemical current supply has case with terminal leads accommodating one or more solid-state electric cells connected to mentioned leads and built around solid ion conductors; in order to raise discharge capacity, electric cells are made in the form of heat-generating cells maintained in hot state; current supply has heat shield disposed inside and/or outside the case that functions to reduce heat loss of hot electric cells.
