abstract FIELD: oil-processing industry; petrochemical industry; production of the additive compound for the cetane number boost of the diesel fuel. n SUBSTANCE: the present invention is pertaining to the field of oil-processing industry and petrochemical industry, in particular, to the compositions of the additive compounds increasing the cetane number of the diesel fuel. The additive compound for increasing the cetane number of the diesel fuel consists of the preliminary mixed cyclohexanol nitrate and the fraction of the paraffin hydrocarbons of the normal structure from C 9 up to C 20 at the mass ratio of the indicated ingredients from 4:1 up to 1:4. The diesel fuel contains this additive compound in the amount of 0.05-0.75 mass %. The additive compound has the synergetic effect. Accretion of the cetane number of the diesel fuel after the additive compound usage exceeds the total effect from usage of its each ingredient.
