titleOfInvention | Medicinal agent offering anti-ischemic, antihypoxic and anticonvulsant effect in cranial trauma |
abstract | FIELD: medicine, pharmacy. n SUBSTANCE: invention proposes using the known soporific and modulator of GABA activity zopiclone as a drug showing multifactor neuroprotective effect on ischemia, hypoxia with hypercapnia and convulsions in acute period of cranial trauma. Invention provides prophylaxis of secondary complications caused by cranial trauma and normalization of nervous-psychic status. It has shown that in first three days of post-traumatic period zopiclone increased resistance of brain in trauma to ischemia, hypoxia, hypercapnia and convulsions by 24.9-42.6% as compared with effect of nimodipine or antioxidant sodium hydroxybutyrate. n EFFECT: enhanced and valuable medicinal properties of drug. n 4 tbl |
