titleOfInvention Transition metal-free inducer for production of the polymers on the basis of isobutylene
abstract FIELD: chemical industry; production of the polymers on the basis of isobutylene. n SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method of production of the polymers on the basis of isobutylene in the presence of the alternative initiation system. The method of the polymerization of the olefin capable to the cationic polymerization includes the polymerization stage of at least of one capable to the cationic polymerization olefin at the subatmospheric pressure and the temperature from minus 100°C up to 25°C in the presence of the initiation system, which includes Lewis acid and the activator selected from the group, consisting of the carboxylic acid and thio carboxylic acid under the stipulation that the initiation system does not contain the transition metal compound. The technical result of the invention consists that the method capable to the cationic polymerization of olefin uses such a initiation system, which allows at the rather high temperatures to produce the very high output of the polymers characterized by the high molecular masses and the indexes of polydispersity within the narrow limits. n EFFECT: the invention ensures that the method capable to the cationic polymerization of olefin uses such a initiation system, that allows at the rather high temperatures to produce the very high output of the polymers characterized by the high molecular masses and the indexes of polydispersity being within the narrow limits. n 10 cl, 3 tbl
