abstract FIELD: medicine; animal breeding; medicine; fragrance industry; methods of production of the highest cycloalkanes. n SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to methods of production of the new saturated cyclooligomeric hydrocarbons and may be applied in the synthesis of the biologically active preparations in medicine and animal breeding, and also in the fragrance industry. The method provides, that exercise the interaction of α, ω-dipropadienes with ethylmagnesiumbromide and magnesium (powder) at presence of titaniumcoendichloride as the catalyst in the argon atmosphere in THF with the subsequent hydrolysis of the reaction mass and hydrogenation of the being formed unsaturated macrocycle with the help of the molecular hydrogen on Pd/C in hexane solution.
