abstract | FIELD: chemical industry; atomic industry; methods of refinement of plutonium from uranium. n SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of the chemical technology and may be used at production of plutonium of the high degree purity. The method of refinement of plutonium from uranium provides for extraction of the plutonium and uranium into the solution of tributylphosphate in the inert diluent, washing of the extract by the nitric acid solutions, reextraction of plutonium present in the solution of the nitric acid with the molar concentration of 0.20 mole/dm 3 . The reextraction of plutonium conduct at the oxidation degree of+3 using the solution of β-oxyethylhydrazine with the molar concentration from 0.8 up to 1.0 mole/dm 3 at the temperature from 40°C up to 60°C and the ratio of the flows of the organic and the water phases from 1.8 to 2.2.
