titleOfInvention | Method for carrying out transcutaneous drainage of fluid-filled neoplasm cavities |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method involves selecting optimal point under computer tomography control for taking puncture sample. The fluid-filled neoplasm cavity is punctured with a needle being not longer than 20 cm and not exceeding 1.66 mm in diameter, with mandarin. The mandarin is to be removed from the needle after having punctured the fluid-filled neoplasm cavity. Super-rigid conductor having flexible end, is introduced into the neoplasm cavity. The patient is removed from tomograph aperture. The needle is removed from the cyst, in rigidly fixing the conductor. Distance from puncture point on patient body surface to the fluid-filled neoplasm cavity center on tomograph display unit screen. Transcutaneous drainage device is introduced along the conductor without mandrin to the measured distance depth. The draining unit is descended into the fluid-filled neoplasm cavity. The draining device and rigid metal conductor system is removed. The draining unit is fixed on skin. n EFFECT: high accuracy in controlling puncture depth; accelerated operation. |
