abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing injured nerve trunk segments and nervous tissue being intraoperatively staining nervous tissue with methylene blue. The nerve trunk is exposed in proximal area with respect to injured zone and dye-stuff is subepineurally introduced into the nerve trunk in distal direction. Degenerative cicatricial injuries are diagnosed by interpreting color intensity changes along nerve. Then, consecutive nerve segments resection is carried out.
