FIELD: biotechnology, biochemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention represents enzyme that catalyzes reaction for formation of peptide from carboxyl component and amine component. Also, invention relates to strains of microorganism Empedobacter and genus Sphingobacterium that produce this enzyme, and to a method for preparing dipeptides from carboxyl component and amine component using this enzyme.
