abstract FIELD: shielding electrical instruments operating under high pressure, including underwater means. n SUBSTANCE: proposed housing has insulating casing sectionalized to form split butt-end and central sections and bottom joined together along mating flanges. Butt-end section has transparent window in the form of blind port with shielding hinged cover. Central section accommodates equipment unit for mounting electrical instrument joined with plug-and-socket contact unit, as well as cable brought thereto through bottom stuffing arrangement. Equipment unit is attached to butt-end section. Air-conditioning means are mounted on bottom support in central part of casing.
