abstract FIELD: pump engineering. n SUBSTANCE: electric pump comprises multi-channel structure made of a nonconductive material. The electrode sections abut against the inlet and outlet faces of the structure and have passages for inflowing and outflowing the fluid to be pumped. The sections are separated by the ion exchange diaphragms into chambers for flowing the fluid that are in communication with the faces of the multi-channel structure and chambers filled with the auxiliary fluid for transporting electric charges. The chambers receive electrodes. One of the diaphragms is monopolar.
