abstract FIELD: woodworking and resin industries. n SUBSTANCE: invention concerns anthraquinone-based wood delignification catalyst, which can be used in vegetable stock cooking process involving alkaline technologies. Method comprises liquid-phase interaction of anthracene with oxidant in organic solvent followed by crystallization of anthracene.
