titleOfInvention Mrv method including application of hyperpolarized contrast agent
abstract FIELD: medicine, diagnostics. n SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with magneto-resonance visualization (MRV) of improved contrast of arteries. It is necessary to introduce a hyperpolarized MR contrast agent that contains 13 C nuclei with a nonzero nuclear spin into a vessel. The vessel should be affected with radiation at frequency chosen so to stimulate nuclear-spin transitions in the mentioned nuclei with nonzero nuclear spin. MR signals should be detected due to applying the sequence of multiple reflections. One should obtain images, spectroscopic data, values on the dynamics of the flow, perfusion and/or the volume of blood out of suggested signals under detection. The suggested innovation enables to achieve images without background signal, increase the signal-sound ratio and improve degree of contrast in vessels' image. n EFFECT: higher efficiency. n 7 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex
