titleOfInvention Method of production of the granules of the foaming styrene polymeric compound
abstract FIELD: chemical industry; methods of production of the granules of the foaming styrene polymeric compound. n SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the polymer chemistry and, in particular, to production of the granules of the foaming polysterene. The method provides for feeding of the streams of the melt of the polymeric compound and the foaming agent into the mixing zone, the dispersion of the foaming agent in the melt of the polymeric compound at the intense cutting up stirring action in the first static mixer, aging of the produced mixture at the intense cutting up stirring action in the second static mixer, chilling of the mixture at stirring action in the third static mixer up to the intermediate temperature with the subsequent chilling of the mixture at the stirring action in the third static mixer up to the temperature necessary for the process of granulation, extrusion of the filaments of the polymeric compound with their quick chilling and granulation. During the production process keep the weight ratio of the smelt stream G S to the stream of the foaming agent G FA within the range of 13-19, the temperature in the first static mixer with the intensive cutting stirring action, equal to: and in the second and in the third static mixers accordingly equal to: and where: G FAmax - the value of the foaming agent maximum possible stream; G FA run - the value of the used foaming agent stream at maintaining the ratio of the smelt fluidity factor (SFF) to the average-weight molecular mass (M w ) within the limits of (0.8-12.0)ยท10 -5 . Thereby there is the possibility of reprocessing of the broad range of the sorts of the polysterene for the further production of the polystyrene with the broad range of the consumable properties. The technical result, which is achieved within the method of the invention ensures the possibility of reprocessing in the FPS (the foaming polysterene) of the broad range of the sorts of the polysterene for the further production of the FPS (the foaming polystyrene) with the broad range of the consumable properties. n EFFECT: the invention ensures the possibility of reprocessing in the foaming polysterene of the broad range of the sorts of the polysterene for the further production of the foaming polystyrene with the broad range of the consumable properties. n 4 cl, 8 ex
