abstract FIELD: metallurgy, namely extraction of arsenic from ores and concentrates. n SUBSTANCE: method of arsenic extraction comprises steps of setting in melting chamber temperature up to 100 -300°C and sustaining such temperature in order to remove vapor and small amount of dust present in arsenic concentrate; at residual pressure equal to 50 Pa or less providing in crystallization chamber temperature in range 300 - 500°C and sustaining such temperature in order to remove evaporated arsenic sulfides; sustaining temperature in crystallization chamber; setting temperature up to 500 -600°C in melting chamber and sustaining it in order to remove decomposed gaseous sulfur; setting temperature 600 - 700°C in melting chamber and sustaining it; decreasing temperature in crystallization chamber till 270 - 370°C and sustaining it for obtaining arsenic; arresting process, lowering temperature, feeding air, separating arsenic and removing slag; extracting pure arsenic by well known process. Equipment for performing the method includes induction heater, melting apparatus, crystallization apparatus, automatic hydraulic apparatus for removing slag; dust trap, automatic device for controlling temperature, device for measuring evacuation degree and vacuum apparatus. n EFFECT: highly safe simplified process for melting and extracting arsenic absolutely without contamination of environment. n 31 cl, 3 dwg, 5 tbl
