titleOfInvention Method for preparing of feed for laying hens
abstract FIELD: animal farming, in particular, feeding of farm poultry. n SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing vitamin-pigmenting additive into feed, with pumpkin paste being used as vitamin-pigmenting additive, said paste being produced by grinding of pumpkin fruits to particle size of about 4 cm; during grinding process, adding cultural liquid of lactic acid bacteria into pumpkin mass, with bacterial cells having titer of 10 8 cl/ml, in an amount of 0.3-0.5 wt% per 1,000 kg of pumpkin paste; introducing benzoic acid into resultant mixture in the ratio of 0.2-0.3 wt% per 1,000 kg of pumpkin paste for preservation of said mixture; introducing resultant vitamin-pigmenting additive into feed in an amount of 5-7% by weight of feed before feeding of animals. Method allows hen eggs to be simultaneously vitaminized and pigmentized during growing period. n EFFECT: increased retention of poultry stock, lower egg production costs, increased feed storage time and reduced volume of stores. n 2 tbl
