abstract FIELD: special cover materials. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing anticorrosive, refractory and heat-insulating cover and its using. The composition comprises the following components, wt-%: sodium or potassium water glass, 4.5-95.0; mixture of hollow microspheres as a filler, 4.5-95.0; non-ionogenic surface-active substance, 0.5-20.0; swollen vermiculite or asbestos fibers as reinforcing filler, 0.0-50.0, and titanium dioxide, 0.0-20.0. Hole microspheres are chosen from the group comprising hollow polymeric microspheres, hollow technogenous microspheres or mixtures of microspheres. Microspheres are taken in limits of their sizes from 10 to 500 mcm with the filled value in limits from 50 to 650 kg/m 3 .
