titleOfInvention | Method for individual sensitivity to preparations of 5-aminosalycilic acid (5-asa) in patients with ulcerous colitis |
abstract | FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology. n SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to carry out a sample in vitro at detecting the synthesis of leukotriene B 4 (LTB 4 ) and thromboxin B 2 with polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNL) at injecting the preparation of 5-aminosalycilic acid into incubation medium and without it. In case of decreased LTB 4 and TB 2 synthesis at PMNL loading in vitro with salofalc being less than by 25% it is possible to expect decreased sensitivity to the preparation and, thus, decreased clinical effect in the form of prolonged terms for remission development and/or the onset of earlier relapse. At decreased synthesis of both metabolites of arachidonic acid under salofalc impact being more than by 25% it is possible to predict normal cell sensitivity to the preparation and - thus - short terms for re mission development and its prolonged keeping. n EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of detection. n 3 ex |
