titleOfInvention | Method for detecting silver |
abstract | FIELD: analytical chemistry of elements, namely, methods for detecting silver, possible use when detecting silver in technological solutions, natural and technologically produced waters. n SUBSTANCE: method for detection of silver includes preparation of solution of silver I in nitric acid, extraction of silver I from solution using sorbent and transfer of it to complex compound on the surface of sorbent, separation of it from solution and processing of sorbent, measurement of diffusion reflection c of surface complex of silver I and estimation of silver content using calibrating graph, as sorbent, silica gel is used, chemically modified by dipropylsulphide groups, processing of sorbent is performed by 1·10 -5 -1·10 -4 M solution of Michler's tio-ketone in 40-60% water solution of ethyl spirits, while measurement of diffusion reflection coefficient is performed at 520 nm. n EFFECT: lowered detection limit. n 4 ex, 3 tbl |
