titleOfInvention | Method for treating proliferative vitreoretinopathy |
abstract | FIELD: medicine, pharmacology. n SUBSTANCE: one should perform tamponade of vitreal cavity with perfluoroorganic compound (PFOC) and retinal endolasercoagulation followed by substitution of PFOC for silicone oil which should be removed at the term of 1-6 mo, moreover, after retinal endolasercoagulation one should introduce 0.3-0.5 ml medicinal preparation into vitreal cavity and while removing PFOC this preparation should be remained upon retinal surface. Application of medicinal preparation at declared volume between PFOC and silicone oil provides steady distribution of medicinal preparation above retina, and silicone tamponade inhibits ocular withdrawal of preparation, thus, enhancing its pharmacological action. n EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy. n 4 dwg, 1 ex |
