titleOfInvention | Method for complex therapy of acquired optic nerve atrophy in children |
abstract | FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. n SUBSTANCE: a child should perorally apply hypoxen 1 h before percutaneous electrostimulation at 15 mg/kg body weight, 30 min before electrostimulation a child should be distillated intranasally per 1-2 drops 0.25%-derinate solution into both nasal pathways. Percutaneous electrostimulation should be fulfilled with current power ranged 150-200 mcA, frequency being 30 Hz, not more. Electrode should be initially applied onto nasal, and 30 sec later - onto temporal point of the upper eyelid. One should carry out four series of impacts upon each eye: twice - stimulation of nasal point and twice - of temporal point. Duration of therapy corresponds to 10 d. The innovation increases the degree of reconstructing visual functions due to increased activity of plastic processes. n EFFECT: higher efficiency of complex therapy. n 2 ex, 1 tbl |
