FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved method for synthesis of carboxylic acid esters that are used as components of lacquered resins and components of paint-and varnish materials, especially, as plasticizer for plastics. Method involves interaction of di- or polycarboxylic acids or their anhydrides with alcohols wherein reaction water is removed by azeotropic distillation with alcohol, and liquid removed from reaction by azeotropic distillation is replaced with alcohol completely again.
