titleOfInvention | Method for predicting efficiency of therapy at partial atrophy of optic nerve |
abstract | FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. n SUBSTANCE: one should affect the upper cervical and stellate ganglia of sympathetic nervous system. Before this impact it is necessary to conduct videoregistration of ocular fundus and analysis of the obtained picture of patient's optic disk. Analysis should be implemented due to detecting the value of chromaticity of red component of every pixel that constitutes the picture of optic disk, the value of brightness for every pixel by gray-colour scale and calculating the coefficient for chromaticity alteration of patient's optic disk detected as the ratio of average value of red component of pixels to average value of their brightness. After the impact upon optic nerve one should repeatedly perform videoregistration of ocular fundus followed by the analysis of obtained picture. Then one should compare the coefficients for chromaticity alteration of optic disk obtained before and after the impact upon patient's optic nerve and according to the alteration in these coefficients it is possible to predict efficiency of therapy. The innovation enables to provide the control for the efficiency of therapy conducted. n EFFECT: higher efficiency of prediction. n 3 cl, 4 dwg, 1 ex |
