abstract | FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing 4-aminodiphenylamine by catalytic reduction of 4-nitrosodiphenylamine with hydrogen. The reduction reaction is carried out under conditions of the compulsory circulation of the reaction mass in organic solvent medium at temperature 45-120°C and under excess pressure 0.25-0.6 MPa with using the highly porous catalyst consisting of ceramic base and metallic palladium applied on it in the amount 1.5-3.5 wt.-%. The proposed method provides the conversion of 4-nitrosodiphenylamine as 99.9% and the yield of 4-aminodiphenylamine as 99.8%.
