titleOfInvention | Method for treating diabetic retinopathy |
abstract | FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. n SUBSTANCE: one should cut a scleral trepanation foramen in superior-external quadrant at the distance of 10 mm against the limbus, develop a channel in sub-Tenon's space to apply a collagen sponge onto a sclera. Next day after operation it is necessary to carry out retinal argon lasercoagulation in projection of sclerectomy. During 10 d one should perform the course of sub-conjunctival injections of medicinal preparations into area of collagen sponge. Application of the present innovation provides an opportunity for medicinal preparations to achieve choroidea, to be deported in a vitreous body, to enter cortical retinal layers and obtain metabolites' release out of vitreous body and, also, provides revascularizing effect in postoperational period. n EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy. n 1 ex |
