titleOfInvention Method for removing intraocular neoplasms
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out vitrectomy, retinotomy and exposing the intraocular neoplasm. Chlorine row photosensibilizer is intrastromally introduced at a dose of 0.8-1.1 mg/kg during 10 min. Fluorescent spectral diagnostic examination of the neoplasm in 20-30 min. When detecting fluorescence, the neoplasm is intravitreally exposed to laser radiation at wavelength corresponding to maximum light radiation absorption by the photosensibilizer with energy density being equal to 100-120 J/cm 2 . Irradiation proceeds field-by-field moving in circles from periphery to the center with neighboring fields overlap equal to 5% of area. Next to it, thermal therapy is applied to the neoplasm in field-by-field mode circularly moving from periphery to the center. Intraocular neoplasm is then intravitreally removed and retina is smoothed by applying perfluororganic substance and delimiting endolaser coagulation of retinotomy zone is carried out. Photosensibilizer is repeatedly intravenously introduced 7-14 days later and fluorescent spectral diagnostic examination of removed neoplasm zone is carried out. Fluorescence areas are intravitreally irradiated with laser radiation having wavelength corresponding to maximum light radiation absorption by the photosensibilizer with energy density being equal to 80-100 J/cm 2 . Then, the perfluororganic substance is substituted for silicon oil. n EFFECT: complete removal of neoplasm; reduced risk of viable tumor cells being retained in operation field; excluded tumor cells dissemination in performing operation; reduced risk of neoplasm recurrence. n 2 cl
