abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting skin under eyebrows and tarso-orbital fascia is cut. Superficial notches are made on the whole surface of open lachrymal gland. Silicon tourniquet ends are conducted from upper conjunctival fornix and placed on the gland. The silicon tourniquet ends are fixed to upper orbital edge periosteum. The so formed tourniquet loop is left in the upper conjunctival fornix.
