abstract | FIELD: metallurgy; methods of production of cast oxide materials on silicon oxide base for production of rods of complex configuration for gas-turbine engine blades. n SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preparation of reaction mixture of starting components containing chromium oxide VI and reductant, placing the mixture in graphite mold which is placed in reactor, local ignition of mixture at excessive pressure of inert gas for obtaining synthesis product and separation of cast oxide material. Oxide material is obtained on base of solid solution of chromium oxide in silicon oxide of amorphous structure. Silicon introduced into starting mixture in the amount of 17.0-50.0 mass-% is used as reductant.
