titleOfInvention Method of producing elastic foamed polyurethane
abstract FIELD: polymer materials. n SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method for production of foamed polyurethane with density at a level of 5 to 80 kg/m 3 involving interaction, at isocyanate index 70 to 130, of (1) 40-65 wt parts polyisocyanate composition including (a) 80-100% diphenylmethane-diisocyanate component consisting of 15-75 wt parts 4,4'- and 25-85 wt parts 2,4', and 2,2'-diphenylmethane-diisocyanates per 100 wt parts component, and/or liquid derivative of diphenylmethane-diisocyanate; and 0-25 wt parts homologues of diphenylmethane-diisocyanates with isocyanate functionality 3 or more; and (b) 20-0% toluene-diisocyanate; (2) 20-45 wt parts polyether-polyol with average molecular weight 4500-10000, average nominal functionality 2-6, which contains oxypropylene and optionally oxyethylene groups, amount of the latter being at least 70% based on the weight of polyol; (3) 3-20 wt parts polyether-polyol with average molecular weight 700-4000, average nominal functionality 2-6, and hydroxyl number not larger than 225 mg KOH/g, which contains oxyethylene and optionally oxypropylene groups, amount of the former being at least 70% based on the weight of polyol; and (4) 2-6 wt parts water. Elastic foamed polyurethane containing in situ formed material in the form of 2-20-μm particles, which contains urea and urethane groups and does not crack when foam is ruptured, is also disclosed. Invention is applicable when manufacturing shock-absorbing materials in furniture and automotive industries as well as packaging, sound- and vibration-insulation materials. n EFFECT: enlarged assortment of industry-suitable foamed polymer materials. n 15 cl, 6 dwg, 3 ex
