FIELD: organic chemistry, pharmaceuticals. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new 1,3-dioxolane derivatives of formula 1 wherein R a and R b are independently hydrogen or C 1 -C 6 -alkyl; or R a and R b together with the carbon atom to which they are attached form optionally substituted 4-7-membered ring. Methods for production of said compounds and optical resolution thereof also are disclosed.
