abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method involves recording 2-3 trains of general electroretinograms with growing retina flash exposure between the trains from 1000 to 3000 mccandela/m 2 when treating patient in horizontal and anti-orthostatic position at the same time on both eyes. Amplitude-time factors are determined on the produced electroretinograms like absolute values of a- and b-waves on general electroretinogram, a- and b-wave latent period values on general electroretinogram, averaged a- and b-wave amplitude on general electroretinogram, in adjacent electroretinogram trains (ERG-coefficient). The values being equal to each other or less than a half of values violating reference value threshold for both patient positions or not less than a half of amplitude-time factor values violating reference value threshold in on of patient positions, conservative therapy is indicated. Not less than a half of values violating statistical norm in both patient positions, eye state is considered to be decompensed and surgical treatment is advised to be administered. n EFFECT: high accuracy in determining treatment tactics. n 6 tbl |
