titleOfInvention | Method for treating endophthalmitis cases |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method involves washing the anterior chamber with aqueous electrolysis solution of sodium hypochlorite having concentration of 5-15 mg/l and usable as substituting liquid in performing vitrectomy. Before making intravitreal tamponade, chlorine row sensitizer agent water solution is introduced into the vitreal cavity and hold without light access during 15-20 min. Intraocular laser radiation of the cyst is carried out in the vitreal cavity and then, photosensitizing gel containing chlorine row sensitizer agent is introduced into the anterior chamber and hold during 10 min without light access. Transcorneal laser irradiation of the whole anterior chamber with a series of applications being administered. Then, irrigation suction of anterior chamber contents is done. n EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in stopping inflammatory process; excluded toxic action upon internal structures. |
