Aqueous cosmetic composition with improved stability |
abstract |
FIELD: cosmetic industry, in particular aqueous composition for skim cleaning. n SUBSTANCE: claimed composition contains a) surfactant or mixture thereof in amount effective for skin cleaning; b) organosilicon compound 0.1-8 %(based on composition weight); c) hydrocarbon material 0.1-8 % (based on composition weight); d) cationic polymer 0.02-1 % (based on composition weight); e) mixture of two different acrylate polymers: cross-linked C10-C30-acrylate polymer; copolymer of C10-C30-alkyl(meth)acrylate and at least one (meth)acrylic acid monomer or lower ester thereof such as methyl, ethyl or propyl ester, being cross-linked with allyl ether of polyhydroxylic compound in amount sufficient to provide visual phase stabilization, wherein said mixture contains 0.3-0.6 % (based on composition weight) of the first cross-linked polymer having viscosity of 10000-30000 cP for 1 % aqueous dispersion neutralized to pH 7, and 0.25-0.6 % (based on composition weight) of the second one having viscosity of at least 40000 cPs for 1 % aqueous dispersion neutralized to pH; and balance f) water. n EFFECT: aqueous cosmetic composition with improved phase stability. n 11 cl, 3 ex |
