abstract FIELD: analytical methods. n SUBSTANCE: in a method comprising preparation of rhenium(VII) solution and reduction thereof into rhenium(IV), novelty resides in isolation of rhenium from solutions using silica chemically modified by N-allyl-N'-propylthiourea in presence of tin(II) chloride. Diffuse reflection factor for complex of rhenium(VI) with N-allyl-N'-propylthiourea on the surface of silica is then determined. n EFFECT: simplified analytical procedure, lowered relative detection threshold, and widened measurable concentration range.
