titleOfInvention | Electrolyte dope for lead-acid cell, electrolyte for lead-acid cell, and lead-acid cell |
abstract | FIELD: electrical engineering; manufacture, repairs, and servicing of lead-acid cells and batteries. n SUBSTANCE: proposed electrolyte dope for lead-acid cell incorporates aniline or aniline salt of mineral acid inactive on plate, electrolyte-soluble polydentant ligand, and acid whose activity is higher than that of sulfuric acid, proportion of ingredients being as follows, mole percent: aniline or aniline salt of mineral acid inactive on plate, 58 - 62; electrolyte-soluble polydentant ligand, 10 - 12; acid whose activity is higher than that of sulfuric acid, 28 - 32. Electrolyte incorporates sulfuric acid, above-mentioned dope, and water, proportion of ingredients being as follows, mass percent: sulfuric acid, 27 - 28; dope, 0.05 - 0.2; water, the rest. Cell has case closed with lid and made of nonconducting acid-resistant material which accommodates at least one block of positive and negative plates whose compartments are filled with active material; plates are spaced apart by separator made of nonconducting acid-resistant material, and inner space of case is filled with electrolyte of above-mentioned composition. n EFFECT: enhanced discharge capacity and enlarged service life of cell. n 41 cl, 2 tbl, 6 ex |
