abstract FIELD: agriculture. n SUBSTANCE: method involves subjecting cuttings to the action of liquid medium with the use of brine of natural bischofite mineral. Liquid medium is provided as clay-bischofite suspension including, wt%: clay 80-90; brine of bischofite mineral having density of 1.2-1.3 t/m 3 10-15; water the balance. Method allows preplanting keeping time of planting material such as four-five year aged licorice rootstocks to be increased to 12-16 days. n EFFECT: increased preplanting time for keeping of licorice rootstock cuttings and provision for creating stable plant associations of licorice of local ecotypes.
