abstract FIELD: lubricating composition for lubrication of threaded connection; threaded connection of metal pipe; method for lubrication of threaded connection; and method for connection of metal pipes. n SUBSTANCE: claimed composition contains volatile organic solvent and one or more at least partially soluble in said solvent basic lubricant with alkali number of at least 50 mg KOH/g, selected from basic sulfonate, basic salicylate, and basic phenate. Lubricating composition containing as essential components (A) 25-80 mass % of volatile organic solvent and (B) 75-20 mass % of at least one nonvolatile component also is disclosed. Nonvolatile component (B) contains 10-100 mass parts of above-mentioned basic lubricant; 0-30 mass parts of thermoplastic resin; 0-90 mass parts of lubricant differ from basic lubricant; and 0-15 mass parts of antideterioration and antiscouring additive. Further provided by the present invention are metal pipe threaded connections including nipple and clutch, wherein nipple has external thread part and metal contact part without thread, and clutch has internal thread part and metal contact part without thread; method for lubrication of threaded connection; as well as method for connection of multiple metal pipes by using threaded connection, lubricated by method of invention. n EFFECT: improved methods for threaded connection lubrication and metal pipe connection. n 21 cl, 7 tbl, 6 dwg
