titleOfInvention Complex nitrogen-containing fertilizer granulation process
abstract FIELD: mineral fertilizers. n SUBSTANCE: invention concerns processes of granulation of complex nitrogen-containing fertilizers using drum-type granulators-dryers. Process is characterized by that wet fertilizer slurry is sprayed in side drum-type granulator-dryer into curtain formed by external and internal return materials, granulate is dried by heating gases at 250 o C and sprayed, coarse fraction is crushed, desired product and fine fraction are without, the latter is returned into curtain, while content of granules 2-3 mm in size in the fine fraction is maintained equal to at least 80%, including 25 to 75% of granules 2-3 mm in size. Moisture content in the fertilizers slurry entering granulator-dryer is maintained between 7 and 15% and temperature of heating gases is maintained between 150 and 230 o C. n EFFECT: improved consumer's properties of product due to increased strength of granules and increased proportion of fraction 2-4 mm; and increased (by 10-20%) productivity of granulator-dryers. n 3 cl, 2 ex
