titleOfInvention Method for surgical therapy of posttraumatic hypophalmos and enophthalmos
abstract FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. n SUBSTANCE: an implant should be applied under periosteum of the lower orbital wall with its bottom facing the side of defect. As an implant one should apply biological material of "Alloplant" series obtained out of plantar derma, as the set of plates with smooth and velvety surface. Thickness of every plate corresponds to 2-3 mm. Due to the plates forming a truncated cone one should form necessary ocular support, moreover, its smooth side should be directed towards the defect. Then plates should be fixed with sutures and after styling under periosteum one should fix the lower plate being a foundation of a cone towards intact osseous structures of zygomatico-orbital area. In case of no posterior-orbital edge the latter should be formed with the help of implant's lower plate. The method enables to increase controlled restoration of eyeball position. n EFFECT: higher efficiency of surgery. n 1 cl, 2 dwg, 3 ex
