abstract FIELD: biotechnology, molecular biology, medicine, pharmacy. n SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for preparing the human neurotrophic growth factor (enovin). Isolated nucleic acid molecule is fused into the expressing vector. Vector or the growth factor (enovin) is used for preparing a pharmaceutical composition used for treatment and prophylaxis in disturbances in the nervous system. The growth factor is detected in sample using antibody that is able to bind with the growth factor. Identification of agonist or antagonist of the neurotrophic growth factor is carried out by interaction of biological material expressing the growth factor receptor with the analyzed compound in the presence of the indicated growth factor.
