titleOfInvention | Method of manufacturing products from polymer-mineral blend |
abstract | FIELD: composite materials. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-filled materials based on synthetic thermosetting resins with high filler content that can be employed in fabrication of chemically resistant products and structures. Process comprises heating filler (according to standard requirements) to 104-110 о С to remove adsorbed water, cooling to 50-80 о С, blending heated filler, in particular phosphogypsum dihydrate, with polymer binder, in particular urea-formaldehyde resin, and aniline hydrochloride as hardener, after which resulting blend is molded into products. Application of properly heated filler allows one, without additional expenses, to increase compaction and bend strengths of polymer composites by 14.8% as compared to products made according prior art technology. n EFFECT: improved quality of products. n 1 tbl |
