titleOfInvention | Method for producing of protein feed additive from wool industry wastes |
abstract | FIELD: feed production. n SUBSTANCE: method involves removing metallomagnetic contaminants from keratin-containing raw material; treating raw material with 33%-hydrogen peroxide solution used in an amount of 2% by weight of raw material; providing hydrolysis with 1%-sodium hydroxide solution, with sodium hydroxide and raw material ratio being 1:4, at temperature of 120±5 0 C and pressure of 0.2 MPa for 1.5-5.5 hours; providing neutralization by mixing hydrolyzate with 35-40%-phosphoric acid solution at temperature of up to 90 0 C until pH value is 7.6; filtering and condensing hydrolyzate at temperature of 65-70 0 C until dry substance content is 30-50%; packaging and cooling to temperature of 20-24 0 C. Upon completing of condensation process before packaging process, condensed hydrolyzate is mixed with filler in an amount of 1-10% by weight of hydrolyzate, with following mixing and holding at temperature of 70±5 0 C for 20-25 min. Dry combined feed raw material or composition thereof is used as filler. Water activity of ready product is 0.68-0.78. n EFFECT: reduced operation costs for producing of protein hydrolyzate and using it as feed additive. n 2 cl, 1 tbl |
