titleOfInvention Clutch with non-metallic flexible members and centering support
abstract FIELD: transport mechanical engineering; transmission of torque in power plants of transport facilities. n SUBSTANCE: proposed clutch consists of two members for transmission of torque from one to other through non-metallic flexible members and centering support made for limitation of radial displacement of clutch members relative to each other during their rotation. Novelty of invention consists in conical inner surface of one clutch member; centering support has member with spherical surface engageable with said conical surface. Member with spherical surface is immovably secured on load-bearing rod forming sliding friction pair with walls of cylindrical hole made in second clutch member. Second clutch member is provided with spring for action on said member with spherical surface to ensure contact between spherical and conical surfaces. Member with spherical surface is movable along and around axis of rotation of clutch members. Provision is made for use of centrifugal field for maintenance of pressure of consistent grease in friction pair formed by walls of clutch members and member with spherical surface. n EFFECT: increased service life of centering support due to increased area of contact of centering support; avoidance of fretting corrosion. n 7 cl, 4 dwg
