Plasmid DNA pBIG providing the biosynthesis of bovine intracellular gamma-interferon is constructed by excision of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae gene MFα prepro-region from bacterial-yeast vector pPIC9 with restriction endonucleases Bam HI and Xho I. The yeast strain Pichia pastoris PS105(pBIG) as a producer of bovine intracellular immune interferon is obtained and deposited in All-Russian collection of industrial microorganisms at number VKPM-Y-2990.
