titleOfInvention Method of introducing carbonyl groups into polymers
abstract FIELD: polymer production. n SUBSTANCE: modified polymers are prepared by nitrogen monoxide-mediated oxidation of initial polymers containing double carbon-carbon bonds until oxygen level in polymer attains 3-40 wt %. As a result, polymers carrying carbonyl groups are obtained. Method allows introduction of carbonyl groups with no other additional groups and without formation of by-products such as catalyst residues, etc. n EFFECT: avoided necessity of purifying polymer and performing complex treatment of modifying agent degradation product. n 7 cl, 1 dwg, 10 ex
