titleOfInvention Method of refining of tin-lead solder
abstract FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of refining of tin-lead solder. The invention is pertinent to metallurgy, namely to technology of refining of the alloys used for soldering, in the process of which the alloy soldering materials, such as copper, nickel, silver, zinc and others are dissolved. The method of refining of tin-lead solder provides for its heating, treatment with sulfur under the temperature of 200-230 o for 0.3-0.4 hour, removal of takeoffs and introduction of a carbon-bearing reactant in the melt, mixing and a removal of slag. After treatment with sulfur the melt is covered with sawdust, the sawdust is set on fire, mixed with the melt and the products of pyrolysis are removed. At that sulfur is additionally admixed with a hetero-organic complexing agent. Sulfur with the complexing agent is added in amount of 0.3-0.4 mass % in respect to tin-lead solder. In the capacity of the hetero-organic complexing agent they use nitriletrimethylphosphonic acid, that increases quality of the final product. EFFECT: the method ensures an increase of quality of the final product. 2 tab
