abstract | FIELD: tobacco industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of postharvest treatment of tobacco and preparing it for storage. In order to exclude necessity of preparing pure substances possessing immunostimulating activity, treatment of tobacco is carried out with immunostimulating agent, which is a preparation obtained from biomass of micromycet Mortierella spinosa var. sterilis according to special technology. Tobacco is then aged, dried, and treated with hot carbon dioxide containing vapors of a monobasic saturated organic acid.
